Polyglass Roofing Products

Polyglass membranes and waterproofing products are popular roofing materials for new or re-roofing applications on Low-Slope structures located in colder climates. Polyglass membranes are high-strength heavy polyester reinforced APP modified bitumen with tensile and elongation performance. Polyglass waterproofing is made of reinforced polyester and fiberglass providing superior flexibility, great tensile strength and stability. These products are light weight, weather resistant and durable.

Polyglass membranes (also known as roofing sheets) are ideal roofing material because they can be placed over existing roofing materials to help reinforce the seal and stop any leaks or seal any cracks. This material acts as a second skin and is perfect for structures located in areas that receive heavy rain and/or snow.

Torch Down Roofing

The Polyglass roofing material we use is torch-down roofing material, meaning it is secured in place with a blow torch and will adhere to existing membranes creating a leak proof seal. Here at Gerry Ray’s Roofing, we specialize in the torch application process. Using a blowtorch requires the right kind of roofing material and insulation so that the heat from the torch doesn’t damage the structure. This application process should not be exposed to adhesives or solvent based materials and should only be performed by professionals. If Polyglass is your choice or if you need more information, please call us today for a free consultation.
